That strength and tenacity is why the Bison was chosen as the icon of Bison Forensics and our mission to uncover the ‘snow job’ and reveal the ground truth.
The Bison represents strength, abundance and deep connection to the earth. Bisons are not flashy or fancy; they are strong and steadfast. It is illustrative of Bison Forensics’ practices of methodically collecting strong evidence to build a case; the abundance of capabilities; and yet, a practical, down-to-earth approach of delivering fact-based reports.
The Bison has been important presence in the life of Bison's founder, Ed Herbst. Born in Buffalo and a life-long Buffalo Bills fan, he graduated from the University of Buffalo (Bulls), and began his FBI career in Oklahoma, where the Bison once roamed freely and remain as a cherished animal to the Native Americans whose population, accomplishments and traditions are deeply imbued in Oklahoma culture. The Bison stood out as a symbolic representative of the history and ethos that Ed brings to investigations and litigation support.
